How it works

step by step to your walking holiday


Get in touch and get to know one another

We do most of our communication via email, but please don't let that stop you contacting us. Use the link at the bottom of this section to start your booking. We will reply within 24 hours to get the ball rolling and see if we are a good fit.


We will propose an itinerary

Once we know where you are walking, and the dates you require we will put together a proposed itinerary wit. This will include your daily miles/km walked and proposed overnight locations.


Our booking team will make your arrangements

Our small team will get to work making your arrangements for your walking holiday by emailing, and calling our hand picked accommodation. Once we are done we confirm these arrangements by email and prepare your itinerary.


your completed itinerary will be emailed

When your itinerary is ready we will email it over. We can still make any tweaks if needed.
Your itinerary will include details of where you are staying each night, and include some extra information about the walk.
Prices for each overnight stop will also be listed.


That's it! You are ready to go

With your completed itinerary in hand, you are ready to hit the trail. We are of course on hand to answer any questions in the run up to your walk.

Frequently asked Questions

Accommodation & luggage

Does the price include my accommodation and bag transfer costs?

This is a great question and one we get asked a lot. The price charged does not include accommodation fees. It pays for us to book accommodation on your behalf and put together an itinerary for you. The price also does not include bag transfer costs.

What type of accommodation do you book?

Where possible, we book 3-4 star Bed & Breakfast, Inn's or Hotels. On occasion you may find yourself in quirky glamping style accommodation, but only where no alternatives exist. Our accommodation options all include breakfast as part of the price we pass onto you.

Are my accommodations all within walking distance?

Due to the remote locations of your accommodation we cannot guarantee that you will be booked into rooms within walking distance. Most of the time, you will be, but in the instance of a last minute booking (which can be 6 months ahead on some trails) transfers may be required.

What happens if I'm not happy with the arrangements?

We offer a satisfaction guarantee for all customers. If you are not happy with our arrangements, we will do our best to re-book where required to your satisfaction. If you are still unsatisfied and subsequently want to end your transaction with us, we will refund your deposit (in full), and also leave your arrangements in place.

Payment & cancellation policy

How do i pay my accommodation?

We book your accommodation, and confirm the price of each arrangement. Payment is however upto you. We make this easy though. Where a deposit or upfront payment is required we will advise, and assist on how best to make that payment. But for most of your arrangements, payment upon arrival, or departure will be just fine.

How to i pay my booking fee?

If you are happy with your proposed itinerary we will send over an invoice via Square allowing you to make a secure payment online to us with a card type of your choice.

FLights and insurance

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, you will need insurance for your trip? We strongly advise that a good quality travel insurance policy is taken out from the point of receiving your itinerary.

Do you book flights?

As we are not a registered tour operator, we are unable to book flights on your behalf.

Do you arrange transport to/from the trail

We don't arrange transport to from the trail, both before, during or after your trip.
