Explore the iconic South Down’s National Park

Explore the immensely beautiful South Down’s National Park by walking the South Down’s Way from Winchester to Eastbourne. The park is easily accessed from London, making it ideal for an extension at the end of a business trip, or for traveling in from Europe. This fabulous route offers a great selection of high-quality accommodations, all who provide a great service and comfortable bed. Highlights include visiting Bignor Hills, Ditchling Beacon and the chalk cliffs of Birling Gap, Seven Sisters Cliffs, and Beachy Head. The South Down’s Way is one of Englands most popular walking routes, yet it still manages to remain quiet and peaceful, perhaps due to some of the local sightseeing hotspots drawing the crowd away from the trail. However, its a route worthy of your attention and time. At BookMyTrail we have been running this route for our solo walkers since the beginning, and it’s been a great success. Our choices of accommodations are superb, and we are proud to work with a range of interesting and very hospitable B&B owners along this marvelous trail who can cater for solo walkers.
