The New Western Front way is a European Walking route which stretches from the French Alps in the South to the Belgian coast in the North. This unique route is based on the Historical Narrative of the WW2 Western front, following a rough line of the front. The route takes walkers from Plaque to Plaque, 200 in total, visiting key points of interest along the way. The route has been supported by the Belgian tourist offices and the Belgium section of the route will be marked with plaques and way-markers by November 2019.

The route lends itself to a more natural, non-linear creative way of thinking. Walkers are free to choose the way and route they walk from each marker.

Moreover, walking information is free to download and share as you like making this a free and inclusive path.
